At Westlake Photography, we are wholly dedicated to the Springfield community, our native area. We participate in both non-profit and commercial projects throughout the year, both giving back to the community and partnering with other local businesses to contribute to the success of small business in Springfield.

Giving Back
In April 2011, Westlake Photography, with the staff of the Asbury Children's Supper Hour, led a special project in which all of the participants and many staff and volunteers of the Supper Hour were photographed at Asbury United Methodist Church. The children and adults were then gifted beautiful 5x7 portraits and frames to bring home for their families to keep and treasure. According to Supper Hour director Vicki Potter: "(Courtney) captured the essence of these children. She saw the light inside them...The children didn't see themselves the way she saw them, the way we see them every day."

Westlake Photography launched its first charity project in 2011 for the month of May, called Focus on Others. Four locally-run charities benefitted from the project, including the Animal Protective League, the Pregnancy Care Center, Jump for Joel and the Asbury Children's Supper Hour. A large portion of the clients sitting fee and order during May was donated to the organizations.

Westlake Photography is proud to be the primary photographer for the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln and its various charitable groups.
